Gravity Die Casting

Controlled metal flow for strength-driven aluminium components

Gravity die casting is a permanent mould casting process in which molten aluminium is poured into a metal die using gravity rather than high-pressure injection. This controlled, natural metal flow results in superior structural integrity, improved mechanical properties, and enhanced reliability in load-bearing applications.

At Arihanth Pro BuildCon Pvt. Ltd., gravity die casting is engineered for components where strength, durability, and material soundness are critical. The process allows for thicker sections, controlled solidification, and reduced internal stresses compared to high-pressure casting methods.

Gravity-fed casting engineered for structural performance and mechanical strength.

Unlike pressure die casting, gravity casting promotes slower and more uniform solidification. This leads to improved grain structure and enhanced mechanical properties — making it particularly suitable for automotive and industrial components subjected to dynamic loads and operating stresses.

Our capability integrates in-house die design, thermal management planning, and process parameter control. Tooling is developed to optimize metal flow paths, gating systems, and cooling efficiency to reduce porosity and maintain dimensional stability.

Optimized gating and cooling systems to ensure sound castings with reduced porosity.

Process consistency is achieved through disciplined melting practices, temperature control, alloy management, and inspection protocols. Each stage — from pouring to solidification and post-cast finishing — is structured to minimize variability and maintain predictable quality standards.

Gravity die casting supports medium-volume production with a strong focus on performance-critical components. The process is particularly suited for applications that require enhanced strength, pressure tightness, and machining reliability.

Ideal for strength-critical components requiring durability and structural stability.

Through controlled process execution and integrated tooling expertise, Arihanth Pro BuildCon delivers gravity die cast components designed to meet demanding engineering and operational requirements.
