Casting Processes

Aluminium casting processes selected for performance, consistency, and reliability

Arihanth Pro BuildCon Pvt. Ltd. offers aluminium casting solutions through two complementary processes: Pressure Die Casting and Gravity Die Casting. Each process is selected based on component design, functional requirements, production volume, and performance expectations. Our approach ensures that the chosen process aligns with both engineering intent and long-term manufacturing stability.

By maintaining both processes in-house, we provide flexibility in addressing a wide range of component geometries and application needs while maintaining consistent quality and process control.

Pressure Die Casting

Pressure Die Casting (Aluminium)

Pressure die casting is a high-efficiency manufacturing process in which molten aluminium is injected into a precision steel die under high pressure. This method enables the production of components with excellent dimensional accuracy, smooth surface finish, and high repeatability, making it well-suited for medium to high-volume production.

At Arihanth Pro BuildCon, pressure die casting is supported by controlled melting, optimized process parameters, and in-house tooling capabilities. These controls allow us to achieve consistent results across production batches while meeting tight tolerances and functional requirements.

Typical applications include components where consistency, production efficiency, and tight dimensional control are critical, particularly in automotive, electrical, electronics, and industrial equipment sectors.

Gravity Die Casting

Gravity Die Casting

Gravity die casting is a permanent mould casting process in which molten aluminium flows into the mould cavity using gravity rather than external pressure. The filling process can be controlled through die design and tilting, allowing better management of metal flow and solidification.

This process is particularly suitable for components requiring enhanced mechanical properties, lower porosity, and improved surface finish. The use of sand cores enables the creation of internal cavities and more complex geometries, expanding design flexibility.

Arihanth Pro BuildCon produces aluminium gravity die casting components ranging from small to large part weights, supporting medium to high-volume requirements depending on component complexity. This capability complements pressure die casting by offering an alternative where performance characteristics take precedence over cycle time.
